The Center is located in Taoyuan, the city where the CKS International Airport (also known as Taipei Airport) is located. Through the biggest international airport in Taiwan, over 20 million person times arrived in and departed from this country annually. Therefore, Taoyuan is also called the "Door of Taiwan." The city is located approximately 40 km southwest of Taipei in northern Taiwan and occupies an area measuring 1,120 km. The Center is located right on the Provincial Highway stretching from the north to the south of Taiwan, with convenient traffics extending to various places on the island.
The facilities at the Center include two modernized classrooms, a computer room, a library, two dormitory areas, a dining room, a recreation room, and two outdoor basketball/tennis courts. A state-of-the-art computer network and an international communication system are equipped. Both lecturers and participants can do long-term research and learning here. A short introduction of the key facilities is listed below:
The Front Courtyard of the Center: This is the panoramic view of the Center, with a beautiful front courtyard.
Computer Room: 33 persons can be accommodated at the same time. There are 33 computers which are connected to broadband networking. A laser printer is also installed here.
Two Modernized Classrooms: One can accommodate 25 persons and the other more than 50 persons. They can also be used as opening or commencement ceremonies.
Library: There is a great number of books and publications relating to land and taxation. Many valuable relevant materials are also collected here. The reports of the graduate participants since the foundation of the Center are kept in the library. It is the one and only land library in Taiwan so far.
Dormitories: There are two dormitory areas with totally 64 rooms. Each room is equipped with air-con, desk, closet and hot water supply for 24 hours a day. Near the rooms are laundry and drying facilities. Wireless networking in the dormitory room is provided.
Dining Room: The Center provides three meals a day. The menu often varies. The room is air-coned and equipped with TV facility.
Recreation Room: Providing participants with entertaining and exercise after class, the recreation room is located in the first dormitory area. There are table tennis, billiards, work-out facilities, as well as KTV facilities.
Outdoor Courts: There are one basketball/volleyball court and one tennis court.
Garden: Beside the tennis court is the garden for recreational purpose.
Footpaths: Encompassing the Center, the footpaths become popular routes for jogging and strolling.
